With some exciting news coming for both The Global Bass Experience and her little sister Nu Cumbia Experience, I must admit I feel restless with excitement.

A part of that excitement is due to the fact that I feel much more comfortable branching out into different sounds in the global bass scene. One DJ that I have never had the privilege to write a feature on is Gypsy Box. I know his colleagues well and I heard his balkan heavy gypsy mixes before.

Here and now I happily feature one of his mixes from about seven months back. “The Color Of The Beats!” is the title of his mixtape. This mix features that staple gypsy Balkanica sound mashed with dubstep, moombah, flamenco and modern Balkan jams.
