Well hello everyone I’m gonna talk about one band in Mexico called “No Somos Machos Pero Somos Muchos.” They started to play in the early 90´s playing mashups and I did know them because at that time I was living in México and I started to work for a cigarrete company that recently re-edited one of their cigarette icons but this time they have filters, and a metal box that you can use again when your cigarettes are gone. Then you can put other kinds of cigarretes or whatever you want. I did this because at that time the decision all governments made that cigarettes can’t advertise them anymore anywhere. So I was that guy who advertised the cigarettes during that time only at the party I was in. So one day I was at a party and this duo was playing, and they where called the “No Somos Machos Pero Somos Muchos.” They just lasted a little while and then they broke up I think, but then I heard about Sonido Changoramico who plays Cumbia and mixes it with hits of the 90´s. So it can be a brutal coincidence or not but now we know what happened with rule and his project. So I knew rule long time ago. I just spoke a few words with him but he also is one of the first people to do mash-ups in Mexico.
Well this is all folks, I hope you like it!
