This issue of The Indie Leak we’ll start off with one of the artists I have been promoting on other blogs. Thus Mariel Mariel now joins us on The Global Bass Experience to share her beautiful voice and very cool music.
From Chile but now currently in Mexico City, Mariel Mariel is making serious moves in the Indie music scene down south. Soon we hope to see her in the States and Europe.
Her newest single was just released today. It’s called “Foto Pa Ti” and it would be a good introduction to Mariel Mariel’s sound for those yet to be introduced. “Foto Pa Ti” is equally danceable as it is kick back. The guitar towards the end really captured my attention. This song is memorable, and memorable is in my opinion a good compliment for any new Indie artist.
Driftless Recordings recently shared this new gem they released of the new musical project “Ejecta.” The catchy 80′s synth pop and haunting vocals harking back to the days of Trance anthems found in their new song “Jeremiah,” excite me for their future LP coming this fall.
London Grammar is one of my favorite new bands and I think they’ll hold that position for quite some time. I honestly can’t get enough of their breathtakingly gorgeous genre bending music. Hannah Reid’s powerful voice is distinct and truly someone to look out for.
With their debut LP “If You Wait” will be coming out on September 9th but their single will be officially released and for sale on September 1st. The single I speak of is their already hit track “Strong.”
But that’s not all! They just released this melancholic masterpiece “Interlude” sure to satisfy your heart whether it is broken or recently fixed.
If you like what you hear then make sure to get their “Metal And Dust” EP here on iTunes.
We’re seeing a lot of activity from M.I.A. lately with her new releases. She hasn’t settled down the excitement surrounding her yet though, she just dropped this track “Unbreak My Mixtape” with its 90′s break beat infused dopeness it takes me back.
This has been your fix of The Indie Leak!
